The C3 Church, C3 Centre, CB1 3HR, Cambridge. Next month, Infusion Physical Theatre will be sharing their production, 'Somebody's Daughter: A Counter-Trafficking Show' in Cambridge. Hosted by the C3 Abolition Group, Infusion brings a high impact, thought provoking performance of dance and physical theatre. The show takes a tour-de-force look at the backwards puzzle pieces of the life of a trafficked woman. Based on survivor stories and documentation, Infusion tackles human trafficking for sexual exploitation, and finds a surprise culprit. Hard-edged, fast-paced and soulful, this wordless epic exposes the powers and players of one of the world’s fastest growing criminal trades. The performance will be followed by a informative talk and Q&A regarding modern slavery and trafficking in the UK and Cambridge, and constructive steps individuals make to address the issue. Come enjoy refreshments, participate in a silent auction, experience a moving performance. All proceeds to Hope for Justice. Developed in partnership with Cambridge Centre of Applied Research in Human Trafficking (CCARHT) Ages 14+ due to mature subject matter.
